About The Exhibition - Where Is Love?

Embracing both Spanish and Portuguese culture through a series of images, this collection reflects my summer of 2025. I spent a week with my dad hiking around southern Spain, mainly in the Sierra Blanca Range between Álora, Ronda, Málaga and Monda, then spent four more days exploring the city of Porto getting lost in the narrow streets and the laid-back rhythm.

There’s something about discovering a new place with my camera that just feels unmatched. I spent a significant amount of time outdoors, got to know some locals and drifted between the small neighborhoods. I’m always drawn to the culture, the light changing on a wall, someone passing by, the way a place feels at a certain time of day.

I embraced the warmer days when everything felt alive and vibrant, spending as much time as I could slowing down enough to really notice things and connect with the people around me. I find a lot of joy in taking photos while I’m travelling, the experience of going with the flow and not having a brief to follow, it’s even more exciting when you’re visiting somewhere you’ve never been before.

This whole series is about setting a tone and letting things be, capturing not just where I was, but how it
felt to be there.
